Ram History

Until recently Ram and Dodge were under the same umbrella, now Ram focuses on trucks and vans while Dodge focuses on muscular cars and performance.

In 1914 the first signature trucks went into production and Dodge’s work truck segment began to rise in popularity. “RAM” was originally the name of one of Dodge’s light-duty pickup trucks. In comparison to other major auto manufacturing brands, Ram is relatively new but has continued to rise, becoming popular worldwide. Some highlights throughout Ram’s history include:
